Manger! Boire! Eat! Drink! Thursday, February 20 6:30pm A Senegalese Experience @ Chez Nous
Feb 20 @ 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm

We’re looking forward to a fresh & flavorful Senegal-inspired dinner this Thursday night, Feb. 20. We’ll be preparing an Avocado Mousse with Coconut, followed by Mafe, a Senegalese Beef & Peanut Stew.

For dessert, something fresh & light, there’s been a lot of buzz around Baked Alaska recently (like here, in the Berkshire Eagle), so we’ll make that classic dessert, flambe in the dining room and everything. The menu is, as always, $35. for food, wine, recipes & a cooking demonstration. See you there!

Community Night Wednesday February 26 Dine for Berkshire Coalition for Suicide Prevention @ Chez Nous
Feb 26 @ 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Wednesday Nights through the winter, Dine at Chez Nous to Support Organizations Working to Improve Lives in the Berkshires

Each evening will be devoted to a different non-profit organization with 15% of the night’s net profit given directly to support their work in our community

Please join us for our Community Nights this winter. Each week we will partner with a local nonprofit to highlight their cause. While we have always partnered with local organizations with different donations, including cooking classes, Chef for a Day, or gift certificates for dinner, recently we have been thinking about how to integrate our work more directly with the community that has supported us for almost 14 years. We are looking forward to giving back by doing what we do best, feeding people!

Here is what you can do to help: bring your friends and family and enjoy an evening out while supporting a good cause. It’s a great combination. In addition, everyone who attends to support Community Night will have their names entered into a raffle for a chance to win a dinner for 2 at one of our popular wine dinners!

Please mark the following nights on your calendar if you would like to enjoy a delicious meal at Chez Nous and take advantage of this easy opportunity to contribute to some of the community organizations doing important work to strengthen the Berkshires and beyond:

HE MISSION OF MUSIC IN COMMON IS TO STRENGTHEN, EMPOWER, AND CONNECT COMMUNITIES
THROUGH
THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE OF MUSIC
Music In Common is a non-profit organization that empowers youth against hate through collaborative songwriting, multimedia and performance. Our programs bring together teens and young adults from diverse backgrounds to discover and celebrate their common ground. Since 2005, Music In Common has directly served thousands of people in more than 300 communities across the globe and across religious, ethnic, cultural, and racial sectors. In any community, our programs can transform apprehension into trust, fear into acceptance, powerlessness into action. Working together face to face, participants expand understanding, build confidence, strengthen community, wage peace and - yes - change the world.
