Manger! Boire! Eat! Drink! starts up again after our holiday hiatus with a delicious winter menu featuring the French classic dish, Blanquette de Veau. Hearty winter fare doesn’t necessarily have to mean heavy; Blanquette is a dish that is actually on the lighter side, tender veal poached in flavorful veal stock, and finished with vegetables and a touch of cream. This delicate dish always amazes our guests, French comfort food at its best but without the richness or heaviness of some popular comfort-dishes. Come join us and learn how to make this incredible - and sometimes overlooked - classic. We will start the meal with an authentic “Peasant’s Soup” made with finely diced vegetables & finished with bacon. For dessert, we’d like to show you the great magic trick behind a real Banoffee Pie: a fabulous dessert which features fresh banana, “toffee” and buttery crumble.
